Cody Simmons has been practicing law in West Texas for more than 20 years.  During this time, he has had the opportunity to assist individuals and businesses with a myriad of legal issues. His practice currently focuses on the areas of renewable energy, business entity formation, commercial acquisitions and sales, real estate transactions, estate planning, probate matters, and contract drafting and review.  Cody provides ongoing representation for numerous renewable energy, agricultural, wholesale, technology, and retail clients.  During the last decade, Cody has spent a significant portion of his time developing the firm’s renewable energy and real estate practice.  He has a passion for helping people solve complex legal problems with practical and real-world solutions. 

As a native of Friona, Texas, Cody is a lifelong West Texan. He loves the people, the area, and the culture.  Cody enjoys skiing, hunting, hiking, traveling, and exploring the beautiful Palo Duro Canyon. His three children, Addyson, Brooklyn & Lily keep his life interesting.  Cody has served on the Deaf Smith County United Way Board for many years, and he is a former member of the State Bar of Texas District 13 Grievance Committee. He is a member of Hillside Christian Church in Canyon, Texas.
